Come on board our Jets!

Qantas Founders Museum is the only place in the world where you can tour two fully equipped passenger jet aircraft.
The ex-Qantas 747-200 VH-EBQ is permanently located at the Museum and is open for guided tours including a unique wing walk experience. With some roof, wall and floor panels removed the tour gives an informative insight into the secrets of this magnificent aircraft.

An even more unique experience. Do the 747 and Wing Walk Tour - Venture out onto the wing of the 747, climb down in the computer bay and into the cargo bays, and sit in the pilot seat. It is something you will never forget.

Now also available for guided tours is the recently arrived, fully restored Boeing 707, VH-XBA, the very first passenger jet registered in Australia and Qantas first jet aircraft.

No photography permitted inside the 707.

Historic Qantas Aircraft on display

The polished metal finish of the 1948 livery is from the days when the aircraft was operated by Qantas as VH-EAP. Climb on board and discover for yourself what it would have been like to fly in this old aircraft in the 1940s.
